Henry Kwasi Prempeh-Eck

Henry is the Director of Legal Education at the Ghana School of Law a position he has held since 2012. Prior to that he was a Senior Lecturer at the Ghana School of Law where he taught Practical Conveyancing, Land Law and Drafting of Deeds and Documents. Prior to joining the Ghana School of Law faculty, he worked at Republic Bank (formerly HFC Bank) as Head of Recoveries.

Henry is a Partner at Lex-Eck Consult which specializes in providing legal advice and legal representation to its clients. He is a member of Ghana Bar Association, a member of the International Bar Association and the Commonwealth Lawyers Association.

He is a Founding member of Ghana Association of Certified Mediators and Arbitrators (GHACMA). He has served as a resource person at both the Judicial Training Institute and the National Banking College of Ghana. He is a Board member of Legal Education, and a member of the Board of the Legal Aid Commission.

He is also a Board member of PIE Ghana, which is an affiliate of Progress in Education, a charitable organization. For the past twenty years, this organization has raised several rounds of funding and purchased lab equipment, computers, printers etc and distributed them to a number of Senior High Schools and tertiary institutions in the country. Henry was called to the Ghana Bar in 1988. He holds a Master of Laws degree from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
